Our Story
Crisp Country Acres is a family-owned farm in Holland, Michigan, dedicated to connecting the community with fresh, sustainably grown produce. Established in 2013 by Doug, Mitch, and Jon Visser, the farm carries forward a long agricultural legacy.
Over the years, the land has supported cattle, hogs, soybeans, wheat, hay, corn, and pickles, and for a time operated as a dairy. Today the family farms 220 acres of produce, using greenhouses and cold storage to extend the growing season and keep fresh produce available year-round. Crisp Country Acres is committed to growing food that is both flavorful and nutritious, with regenerative farming at the forefront of its priorities alongside other sustainable practices.
The goal is twofold: to deliver produce that tastes good and provides the nutrients families need, while caring for the land so the farm can continue for generations to come.
