We connect small farms and food producers directly to communities through direct-to-consumer home delivery and mobile pop-up markets — making it easier than ever to buy fresh, local food where people actually live and work. The Role
The Market Activations Lead is the face of Locavana in the field. You'll run our pop-up markets, open new locations at apartment complexes and businesses, conduct home deliveries, and use our proprietary technology to keep inventory, payments, and customer growth humming. This is a builder's role — real ownership, real impact, and a front-row seat to a fast-growing company.
What You'll Do
- Run pop-up markets. Set up, sell, engage customers, and break down at city markets, apartment communities, and corporate sites. You're the energy in the room.
- Open new locations. Pitch property managers, HR leaders, and business owners on hosting Locavana pop-ups or lockers. Build the route map.
- Run Home Deliveries - Using our tech stack, you will help pack and deliver customer orders straight to their door.
- Run our tech stack. Use our proprietary inventory, point-of-sale, and customer-growth tools to track every product, every transaction, and every customer interaction.
- Solve problems on the fly. Card reader acting up? Cooler temp drifting? Customer asking about the farm? You handle it.
- Move product. Pick up from our hub, transport to market sites, and manage cold chain end-to-end.
- Contribute to the playbook. What's working? What's not? Your input shapes how we expand.

- Tech-comfortable. You can pick up new software and hardware quickly. We'll teach you our stack — you bring the willingness.
- Clean driving record. Required. You'll be operating company vehicles.
- Physically capable. Comfortable lifting 50 lbs, standing for long stretches, and working outdoors in variable Michigan weather.

- Sales or B2B outreach background
- Existing network in property management, corporate HR, or the local food scene
