Pale green, bulb-shaped kohlrabi with crisp, juicy flesh and a mild, sweet, slightly peppery taste. Peel it, then enjoy raw in sticks and slaws or cook it by roasting, mashing, or stir-frying. Don't toss the leaves, which can be sauteed like kale.
