Our Story
Fish Lake Organic Berry Patch is a multigenerational family farm in Goshen, Indiana, rooted in Amish tradition and a lifelong commitment to organic growing. Owned by the same family for generations, the farm is run by Fritz Miller. Fritz grew up cultivating crops without chemicals long before "organic" became a label, and the farm has never used herbicides.
Fish Lake has been growing and supplying organic berries since 2003, chemical-free and sustainably grown on Fish Lake. When Fritz earned organic certification that year, he became the second Amish farmer in the county to be officially certified, overcoming obstacles that included tracking down the region's only certifying agency and sourcing organic seeds that weren't available in standard catalogs.
Fritz grows a vibrant mix of raspberries, vegetables, and foraged fruits, crafting small-batch jams with less sugar and full traceability back to the exact patch and harvest day. Every seasonal berry variety is hand-picked only when fully ripe, for the best flavor and quality
